Hoax-Slayer warns of a fake offer of a $ 1000 free gift card at Walmart, which reaches users through a text message that reads:   "You have been selected to compete for a free Walmart gift card! Enter the FREE code in - fraudulent - to ask for yours, only 116 left! Send OUT to stop the messages."   Users who open the link to the website and enter the code are redirected to another where they are asked to answer a questionnaire or survey, or share their name and contact information to compete for the prize.   When the questionnaire or survey is completed, users are asked to enter their cell phone number to see the results.
