$200 Amazon gift card
Amazon gift cards are a frequent gift for Christmas, birthdays and graduations. If you have gift cards for your account, you might be curious to know how much money you have available in them. Your account includes an option to check the total balance of your gift cards. Amazon also allows you to verify the balance of a gift card without applying it to your account. This can be very useful if you receive the card as a present, but you do not know how much money is in it.
Method 1
Check the balance of the gift card in your account

Go to Amazon.com Open a web browser, such as Google Chrome or Firefox on your desktop computer, smart cell phone or laptop. Click on the address bar at the top of the web browser window. Type "Amazon.com" in the address bar and press the Enter key.

Sign in to your Amazon account. At the top of the web page, on the right side, look for the words "Hello. Identify yourself". Click here to go to the login page. Enter your email address or username, as well as the password. If you do not have an account yet, click on the button that says: "Create your Amazon account".
Creating an Amazon account requires that you provide an email address. If you do not have an email account yet, you will need to create one.

Go to "Your account." When logging in, you should go directly to your account page, but if that were not the case, you should click there. Pass the mouse over the "Account and lists" button in the navigation bar. Look at the column on the left and click on the words "Your account".

Locate the Gift Card section in "Your Amazon Wallet." Scroll down the entire page to the second section, called "Amazon Wallet." There are 2 columns in the section, one indicates "Methods of payment" and the other "Gift card".

5. Click on "View balance or redeem a card", under the heading Gift cards, the first option will allow you to see the balance of the gift card. The words you click on will turn blue. Click on them to go to the balance page of the gift card.

Check your balance After clicking on "View balance or redeem a card", the balance page of your gift card will open. You will see a box on the screen that will indicate the available balance written in green text. If you have more than one card inserted in your account, the balance is the total of the sum of all the cards.

Sign in to your Amazon account. Open the web browser you want and go to Amazon.com Click on the "Hello. Identify yourself "in the upper right part of the screen. Once there, enter your email address and password to log in to your Amazon account.

Click on "Gift Cards". Go to the search bar located at the top of the screen. Below the search bar, you will see several words, which each direct to a different section of the website. Click on the words "Gift Cards". This will take you to a section with several options.

Click on the box that says "Redeem Gift Card." The screen will show three boxes in a row. Below these, you will find another row with six boxes. The penultimate on the right side indicates "Redeem a gift card". Click on that link

Scrape the silver band on the back of the card. If you have a new Amazon gift card, it should have a silver band on the back covering the activation code. Use a coin or your fingernail to scratch or peel the band that will reveal the code.

Enter the activation code. Look on the back of your card for a long series of numbers and letters. Enter the code exactly as it appears, including capital letters and hyphens.

Click on the box that says "Verify." After entering the verification code, you will have two options
